The mold base is a comprehensive name given to parts that contain a cavity for the plastic injection mold. This base consists of different parts that together constitute the outer part of a plastic injection mold, and is constituted of top and bottom ejector plate, moving half retainer plate and runner stripper plates. It is also available for both large size molds and small size molds, as it is designed individually for each mold. Plastic Moulds Base is available in two structures, which is 2-plates structure and 3-plates structure.
